New York City and packaging meet
the BRIEF
EastPack is an annual tradeshow at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. It brings together innovators changing the packaging Industry by pushing the future of packaging materials, design, sustainability, and production. The task was to create a new Ad campaign that focused on New York City as the international hub for top influencers of the industrial packaging industry.
the CHALLENGE
Create a full-page ad to run in industry-related magazines to generate the excitement of its host city and build the connection between it and the buyers, executives, and decision-makers who will attend the East Coast’s largest packaging event. This is the city where they hit the event floor, not just looking to network but of sourcing the latest technologies. New York is the place to be.

the SOLUTION
The concept was to generate a movie premiere feel to this ad, by generating a red carpet excitement that is as stimulating as the city where it’s located. The movie poster look was used to generate a seamless integration of the iconic New York City skyline with the creative shapes, sizes, and designs of various commercial packaging. Stock photography was combined to create the final composite, while carefully arranged 3d packaging was used to build the custom skyline.
