the BRIEF
Drive World Conference & Expo is focused on automotive intelligence through electronics and semiconductors. Autonomous is just around the bend and how it is deployed will change not only how we get around forever but how mobility technology advances and how intelligence is added to designs through electronics. Informa Markets desperately needed to become a player within this growing manufacturing industry. Its Advanced Manufacturing Group positioned Drive to launch in the heart of electronics innovation – Silicon Valley, California.
the CHALLENGE
A brand new tradeshow launch is always a challenge for marketers and event directors. They needed to present Drive as an exciting new opportunity to provide its audience with the necessary education and sourcing opportunities that will advance their design skills. It needed to connect buyers and suppliers in the automotive electronics and intelligence industry. The new event required a design that evoked this relatively new industry as the future of transportation.

the SOLUTION
Shift into DRIVE, a simple title to invoke action to move away from traditional human-operated cars to the new era of automation and autonomy. This concept is reinforced by a single powerful image of a traditional car propelling into the future of smart technology – slightly abstract to emphasize the broad range of industries covered at the event. A new logo was also developed for this project.
